I think it’s almost impossible to efficiently accomplish any goal without a mentor. I’ve been so thankful to have multiple amazing mentors.
Here are some of the common traits of my (adult/human) mentors that you might find helpful indentify your own:
- They are the one person that awes and annoys everyone
- They are deeply passionate about work and play
- They ruffle my feathers
- They have the ability to give complements that make me blush
- They want to learn something from me
- They are usually about 5-10 years ahead of me on the path I am following
